Base App Store age rating: 13+

Primary audience: Young adults (approximately 18–30) who want to discover and join local meetups, events, and social activities.

1. Overview

WorldFlows is a location-based social app where users create and join spontaneous local meetups (“Zelos”), discover events on a map, and chat with other participants. Because the app includes user-generated content, messaging, and real-world meetups with other users, it is not intended for young children.

2. App Store Age Ratings

WorldFlows completed Apple’s age rating questionnaire in App Store Connect. Apple assigns an equivalent age rating for each country or region based on local age suitability standards. Users only see the rating that applies to their own country or region on the App Store.

Our declared base rating is 13+. The same app content may therefore appear with a higher age label in some countries, even though the underlying features do not change.

2.1 Ratings by country or region

The table below reflects the age ratings currently shown in App Store Connect for WorldFlows (version 6.0.0). If Apple updates regional mappings or we change app content, these ratings may change.

15+	Korea, Republic of	South Korea uses a distinct age suitability scale. Apple maps our content to 15+ for Korean users.

Important: A higher rating in a specific country does not mean WorldFlows adds different features there. It means that country’s App Store standards classify social interaction, chat, and user-generated meetup content at a higher minimum age.

2.2 Why ratings differ by country

WorldFlows includes capabilities that commonly affect age classification worldwide:

User-generated content (Zelo descriptions, profile bios, photos)
Social discovery on a map visible to other users
Direct messaging and chat between users
Location-based features for nearby meetups and events
In-app purchases and auto-renewable subscriptions (WorldFlows Prime, tokens)

Some regions apply stricter minimum ages for apps with social networking and communication between users, which is why Australia, Brazil, South Korea, and Vietnam may show a higher rating than the global 13+ default.

2.3 Parent and purchaser guidance by region

13+ regions: The app is not intended for children under 13. Teens should use meetup and chat features only with guardian awareness.
15+ / 16+ / A16 regions: Local App Store rules indicate the app is better suited to older teens and adults. We still recommend caution for any feature involving meeting people in person.
All regions: Real-world meetups, location sharing, and communication with other users require personal safety judgment regardless of the displayed store rating.

3. Intended Use

WorldFlows is designed for users who can responsibly:

Create or join location-based meetups with shared intent
Communicate with other users through in-app chat
Share a profile, photo, and basic personal details
Understand that real-world meetups involve safety considerations

The app is not designed for children under 13. Users are asked to provide date of birth and related profile information during onboarding to support account setup and safety. WorldFlows does not currently use Apple’s Declared Age Range API to block social features for users under 13.

4. Safety Features

WorldFlows includes measures intended to support a safer social experience:

Phone sign-in: Accounts are tied to phone number verification.
Reporting and moderation: Users can report content and behavior; inappropriate chat and Zelo content may be flagged or removed.
Identity verification: Optional verification flows may be available for additional account trust.
Women-only Zelos: Hosts may create women-only meetup spaces where supported.
Privacy controls: Users can manage notification, privacy, and account settings in the app.
Account deletion: Users can permanently delete their account from Profile → Account Settings → Privacy Settings → Delete account.

5. Content Users May Encounter

Within the app, users may encounter:

User-created meetup descriptions, profile bios, and photos
Chat messages between participants
Public or shared map-based meetup and event listings
In-app purchases for tokens and WorldFlows Prime subscriptions

WorldFlows does not include unrestricted web browsing, simulated gambling, loot boxes, graphic violence, or medical treatment guidance. Infrequent mature language or references may appear in user-generated content and are subject to moderation.

6. Parental and Guardian Guidance

Parents and guardians should consider the following before allowing a teen to use WorldFlows:

The app enables communication and coordination with other users, including strangers nearby.
Meetups may take place in real-world locations chosen by users.
Location permission is used to show nearby Zelos, events, and map features.
Subscriptions and in-app purchases are available through the App Store.
The age label on the App Store in your country should be treated as the minimum store guidance for your region.

We encourage families to discuss online safety, meeting in public places, and when not to share personal information with others.

WorldFlows may collect account, profile, location, chat, usage, and subscription-related information as described in our Privacy Policy. This may include date of birth, age, and other profile details provided by the user.
